# Study Preferences

> Choose how deeply Seed Scroll generates AI studies, reading plans, and study expansions.

Study preferences help Seed Scroll match your preferred study depth and tone when generating AI content.

## Open study preferences

Go to **Profile → Reader Settings** and find the study preference controls.

## Choose a study style

Seed Scroll supports different study depths, from simple guided explanations to deeper study with original languages, history, and theology.

Use the style that fits your current goal:

| Style | Best for |
| - | - |
| Simple | Clear explanations, short studies, new believers, quick devotional use |
| Guided | Balanced structure with observations, scripture support, and application |
| Deep | Original-language details, historical context, and theological connections |

## What preferences affect

Your study preferences can influence:

* AI-generated study notes
* AI reading plans
* title suggestions
* hashtags
* expanded study sections
* tone and depth of explanations

## Language and translation context

Study preferences work alongside your app language and active Bible translation.

For example, when Spanish mode or RV1909 context is active, supported AI generation can produce Spanish output while still following your chosen study depth.

<Note>
  Study preferences guide AI output. Always review generated content before saving, publishing, or teaching from it.
