AI Connections lets an AI assistant you already use work inside your Seed Scroll library. Once connected, you can ask Claude or ChatGPT to find a note you wrote, pull together the verses you bookmarked on a theme, draft a study, or lay out a reading plan, and the result lands in Seed Scroll as your own content.
Connecting an assistant is a premium feature. If your subscription lapses, the assistant stops on its next request and reconnects once you subscribe again.

What a connected assistant can do

The assistant works only with content that belongs to you: Everything it creates is private and appears in the app like anything you wrote yourself. It does not carry the AI-assisted label, because Seed Scroll did not generate it.

What it cannot do

  • See your community posts, your followers, or anyone else’s content
  • Publish, share, or post anything
  • Edit or delete existing notes, bookmarks, or plans
  • Sign in as you anywhere else. The assistant holds a key to these actions only, never your password or your session.
Seed Scroll also caps how much an assistant can create in an hour, so a runaway conversation cannot flood your library.

Connect from Claude

1

Add the connector

In Claude, open Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste this URL:
2

Sign in to Seed Scroll

Claude opens a Seed Scroll page that names the assistant asking and where it will return you. Sign in the way you sign in to the app: Continue with Google, Continue with Apple, or your email and password. Your password goes to Seed Scroll only, never to Claude.
3

Use it in a chat

Claude asks before running a Seed Scroll action until you choose Always allow for it. Try: “Find my notes about wisdom” or “Bookmark Psalm 23:1 as a key verse.”

Connect from ChatGPT

1

Turn on Developer mode

Custom connectors in ChatGPT require Developer mode: open Settings → Security and switch it on.
2

Create the app

Open Settings → Plugins (some accounts show Apps or Connectors), choose Create, give it a name such as “Seed Scroll”, and paste this URL in the server URL field:
Leave authentication set to OAuth. Accept the notice that ChatGPT has not reviewed the connector and create it.
3

Sign in to Seed Scroll

ChatGPT opens the same Seed Scroll sign-in page. Use Continue with Google, Continue with Apple, or your email and password.
4

Use it in a chat

Start a new chat and mention Seed Scroll, or attach it from the + menu. ChatGPT labels the three create actions as writes and may ask before running them.
ChatGPT remembers what a connector can do from the moment you connected it. If Seed Scroll adds an action later and ChatGPT does not see it, open the connector in Settings → Plugins, tap ⋯, and choose Refresh.

See and disconnect your connections

On the web app, open Profile → Reader Settings → AI Connections. Each assistant you have connected is listed with the date you connected it. Tap Disconnect to cut it off; the assistant loses access on its next request, even if you never remove it on the assistant’s side. You can also disconnect from the assistant itself: in Claude, open the connector and choose Disconnect; in ChatGPT, open the app under Settings → Plugins, tap ⋯, and choose Disconnect.

Sign-in troubleshooting

  • “Invalid login credentials”: you signed up with Google or Apple and have no password. Use Continue with Google or Continue with Apple instead.
  • “That sign-in didn’t start here”: the sign-in page was opened from a link rather than from the assistant. Start again from Claude or ChatGPT.
  • “Seed Scroll doesn’t recognise this assistant”: the connector URL was mistyped, or the assistant is not one Seed Scroll can accept. Check the URL and try again.
  • The assistant says it is not premium: connecting needs an active premium subscription on the account you signed in with. See Premium.
