Bible audio lets you listen to scripture from the reader, reading plans, and saved playlists.
Bible audio is available in the mobile app. Browser support is limited because audio playback depends on native mobile audio APIs.

Translation support

If your active translation does not support audio yet, Seed Scroll can prompt you to switch to an audio-capable translation.

Play a chapter

1

Open a chapter

Go to the Bible Reader and open the chapter you want to hear.
2

Tap play

Tap the audio play button in the reader.
3

Follow along

As audio plays, Seed Scroll highlights the active verse and can scroll with playback.
4

Open the player

Tap the mini-player to open the full audio sheet with playback controls.

Listen to reading plans

Reading plans can be played when their assigned passages use an audio-supported translation. From a reading plan day, start playback to listen through the assigned passages. Seed Scroll keeps the queue connected to the plan day so you can read and listen together.

Use audio playlists

Audio playlists are saved queues of Bible passages. Use them for topical listening, memorization, commuting, or group reading. You can:
  • create a playlist from the Studies area
  • add Bible passages to a playlist
  • play through passages in order
  • save playlists for later
  • publish playlists to your profile when sharing is available

When audio is unavailable

Audio may be unavailable when:
  • the selected translation does not support audio yet
  • a specific passage has not been recorded
  • you are using the web app
  • premium access is required for the audio flow you are trying to use
Seed Scroll shows a message instead of silently failing.
