Seed Scroll lets you read from multiple supported Bible translations. The active translation controls the Bible text shown in the reader, search context, study creation context, and passage navigation.

Supported translations

Audio availability depends on the selected translation. If a translation does not currently support audio, Seed Scroll will let you switch to an audio-capable translation instead of failing silently.

Change translations

Open the Bible Reader and tap the translation label in the navigation bar. Choose the translation you want to read. The first time you select a translation that is not already downloaded, Seed Scroll downloads the local Bible database for offline reading.

Strong’s support by translation

Seed Scroll is honest about how Strong’s study works across translations:
  • KJV+, RV1909, and BSB include native Strong’s tagging.
  • WEB is a public-domain reading translation. It does not include native Strong’s tagging, so Seed Scroll uses the corresponding KJV+ verse as the lexical study backbone.
This means WEB readers can still open Strong’s study tools, but the app does not claim exact word-level WEB-to-Greek/Hebrew precision when the underlying data does not support it.

Spanish reading

When you select RV1909, Seed Scroll can also prompt you to switch the app language to Spanish. This keeps Bible text, book names, and app copy aligned for Spanish study. See Spanish Support for the full language workflow.

Offline reading

Supported Bible translations are downloaded or bundled for offline reading. After a translation database is available on your device, you can read without an internet connection. AI features, social content, sync, and first-time downloads still require network access.
