September 24, 2026 (web)

Added

  • Added Atlas to the web app: a 3D map of every place the Bible names, drawn over real terrain. Move through the eras from the Patriarchs to Acts, switch place labels between English and the Cepher’s Hebrew names, open a place to read the verses that name it, and turn 3D reconstructions of Babylon, the Temple and the Tabernacle in a full-screen viewer. See Atlas.
  • Added narrated journeys in Atlas for premium members: Abraham’s journey, the Exodus, Jesus’ last week and Paul’s first journey play stop by stop, with a spoken narrator, the verses to read at each stop, and the distance of every leg. Any journey can become a generated study or a reading plan, one stop a day.
  • Added the Atlas guide for premium members. Ask where something happened and the map flies there with the verses that tell it; ask for a road and the guide composes a journey on the spot.
  • Added AI Connections: connect Claude or ChatGPT to your own bookmarks, study notes and reading plans, and see or disconnect your connected assistants under Profile → Reader Settings → AI Connections in the web app. See AI Connections.

August 13–15, 2026

Added

  • Added collections for saved studies. Create a named collection in Saved — Marriage, Torah, Studies to revisit — give it a description if the name is not enough on its own, and file saved studies into it. A study can sit in as many collections as you like without being copied, and collections are private: the person who wrote a study never sees that you saved it or what you called the collection it went into.
  • Added an Add to collection action to the confirmation shown when you save a study, so a study can be filed the moment you save it rather than hunted down later.
  • Added an Add studies button inside a collection, so one you have just created can be filled without leaving it.

Improved

  • Improved the Saved screen. All Saved Studies now stays listed even when empty, so the place saved studies live is always where you left it. Each collection shows its description and how much is in it, and its icon reflects what it holds — a mortarboard for studies, an open book for verses.
  • Improved rows inside a collection so each says what it is: your own study, a study saved from another reader, a Bible verse, or a chapter.
  • Improved collection names. Blank names, names longer than the field can show, and names you already have are refused with a reason under the field instead of a failure after the fact.
  • Improved deleting a collection so it only unfiles. The studies inside stay saved under All Saved Studies, and removing a study from one collection leaves it in every other.
  • Improved the confirmation shown after deleting. It is centred, and it says what happened in full — Reading plan has been deleted rather than Reading plan deleted. Removing a bookmark still says Bookmark removed, because a bookmark is removed rather than destroyed.
  • Improved The Way, the Truth & the Life so it is read under the names its own edition prints. The book picker shows the publisher’s common name with the printed title beneath it — Tehilliym above The Psalms — across three columns rather than one long list, and the reader header leads with the printed title.

Fixed

  • Fixed a republished Spanish RVR1909 never reaching readers who already had the older copy, and a public translation going stale when no bundled copy existed to fall back on.
  • Fixed the search icon sliding off the reader header when the book name ran long.
  • Fixed the chapter grid collapsing to a single row on shorter screens, which put later chapters out of reach.
  • Fixed walkthrough steps highlighting empty space where a button was expected.
  • Fixed collections and their descriptions staying on the device that made them. They now travel with your account, including collections you have not filed anything into yet, and deleting or renaming one on one device carries to the rest instead of coming back on the next sign-in.

August 5–10, 2026

Added

  • Added AI generation alerts. Start an AI study or reading plan, then leave the app — a notification tells you when it is ready, or if it could not be finished. Opening the app from the notification takes you to the finished study or plan, and if you are still in the app your phone gives a short buzz instead.

Fixed

  • Fixed device notifications for social activity. New followers, likes, copies, saves, enrollments, plan completions, and studies published by creators you follow now reach your phone. Daily reading reminders were unaffected.
  • Fixed the Bible reader walkthrough highlighting the wrong part of the screen. The opening step now reliably frames Genesis 1:1, and the header steps point at the button they describe.
  • Fixed the walkthrough being skipped for the rest of a session when the reader was opened on a specific verse or inside a reading plan.

July 28–August 4, 2026

Added

  • Added configurable Whole-Bible Reading Plans from the Plans tab. Choose a one-, two-, or three-year schedule, read every day or on weekdays, select a start date, and follow either traditional Bible order or Seed Scroll’s approximate chronological order.
  • Added guided AI Reading Plan creation for premium members. Describe your goal, choose a preset or custom length up to 365 days, and select an every-day or weekdays-only schedule.
  • Added a complete review step for generated plans. You can inspect every scheduled day, Scripture reference, and daily study before saving, choose a brief reflection or deeper mini-study format, and make the plan private or public during creation.
  • Added full reading-plan PDF exports. Share or save a print-friendly document containing the plan description, schedule, dates, passages, and daily content on iOS, Android, or web.
  • Added support for one-time purchases of licensed Bible translations, beginning with Cepher - The Way, the Truth, and the Life. The purchase flow supports restoring ownership, securely downloading the translation, and reading it offline after installation.
  • Added mapped Strong’s word-study links for supported Cepher WTL words, including mapped divine-name forms.

Improved

  • Improved reading-plan creation so the plan, visibility, schedule, and all generated days are saved together. Plan creators are also enrolled automatically so reminders and progress controls work immediately.
  • Improved the Plans screen by keeping existing plans visible while refreshed data loads in the background.
  • Improved reading-plan reminder recovery and permission guidance, including a direct Open Settings action when notifications are disabled.
  • Improved long AI plans so their titles and descriptions describe the full requested duration instead of only the first generation batch.
  • Improved the translation picker with the full Cepher WTL name, localized one-time pricing, ownership and download status, and controlled publisher QA access before public activation.
  • Improved licensed translation downloads with authenticated delivery, file integrity checks, and entitlement synchronization across purchases and restores.
  • Improved the Strong’s Add to Note flow with a themed chooser for creating a note or selecting an existing one while preserving the English word, original-language lemma, and Strong’s number.
  • Improved Spanish AI studies so translated output preserves the expected localized divine names.
  • Updated the Privacy Policy to explain account information, submitted media, AI prompts, religious content, usage data, purchases, diagnostics, service providers, and deletion choices more clearly.

Fixed

  • Fixed reading-plan reminders that could appear disabled even though a notification remained scheduled, and ensured deleting a plan also cleans up its scheduled reminder.
  • Fixed Chapter Guide questions carrying into a different chapter or translation after navigation.

June 24, 2026

Added

  • Added Compare mode to the Bible Reader. You can open a split-pane reading layout, change the primary or compare passage, scroll each pane independently, and move each pane with compact Prev and Next controls.
  • Added a script-style font option for Saved Verse Images, giving scripture art a more decorative cursive look.
  • Added a Saved entry point from Profile so saved content is easier to find without opening Studies first.

Improved

  • Improved Compare mode loading with in-pane skeleton rows, so changing passages keeps the split layout stable instead of flashing a full loading panel.
  • Improved Compare mode on phones and tablets with compact pane headers, visible bottom navigation, separate passage pickers, and an open-out action for studying either pane in the main reader before returning to compare.
  • Improved immersive reader stability by keeping the default book-mode text renderer on the proven JavaScript path while leaving native text rendering opt-in for QA.

Fixed

  • Fixed Compare mode pane scrolling, chapter-change scroll reset, stale compare loads from rapid taps, and boundary states for previous/next chapter controls.
  • Fixed entering immersive book mode while Compare mode was active, which could leave the reader blank or in a mixed layout state.
  • Fixed red-letter range handling so words of Jesus highlight more accurately across partial and terminal verse ranges.
  • Fixed malformed BSB verse spacing that could merge words or create abnormal gaps.
  • Fixed saved verse bookmark dog-ear refresh behavior so bookmark indicators update reliably after state changes.
  • Fixed Saved Verse Image text fitting and font picker details so generated images stay readable and easier to style.

Added

  • Added tablet annotation support in the immersive Bible reader. On supported tablet layouts, you can use stylus-oriented controls to mark up scripture while studying.

June 9, 2026

Added

  • Added an immersive book reading mode to the Bible reader. Tap the book icon in the reader header for a distraction-free, full-screen view with flowing, book-style typography on a warm parchment background. Move between chapters with the in-view Previous and Next links, and tap ✕ to return to the standard reader.

Improved

  • Improved book mode so your place carries over when switching between the standard reader and book mode, bookmarked verses keep their highlight color, and passage text is easy to select for copying.
  • Improved desktop book mode to fill the screen, hide the side navigation and study panel, and center the passage in a comfortable reading column.

Fixed

  • Fixed Bible verse bookmark highlights that could stay hidden in the web app until you changed chapters, so they now appear once bookmarks finish syncing.

June 8, 2026

Improved

  • Improved tablet and desktop Bible study with a split verse panel for cross-references. Related verses can open in the reader column while the cross-reference panel stays available, with a Back to original verse action for returning to the starting passage.
  • Kept the phone cross-reference flow focused on the existing View all Cross-References screen, so smaller screens still use the full-list experience with filtering, bookmarking, and study actions.

June 6, 2026

  • Added Sign in with Apple support for the web and desktop app, using the browser-based Apple OAuth flow.

Improved

  • Improved Saved Verse Images by caching template backgrounds locally after first load and using a mobile-friendly bottom-sheet font picker.
  • Improved desktop auth so Continue without account and auth warnings use visible browser prompts.
  • Improved the desktop translation picker so the modal stays centered and no longer stretches too wide on large screens.
