You do not need to create an account to start using Seed Scroll. Guest mode gives you access to the core Bible study features immediately, with study notes saved locally on your device.

Enter guest mode

You can enter guest mode from two places:
  • Onboarding screen — tap Continue as Guest after swiping through the feature slides.
  • Auth screen — tap Continue without account at the bottom of the sign-in screen.
A confirmation prompt reminds you that notes saved in guest mode are stored on this device only. Tap Continue anyway to proceed.

What you can do in guest mode

Full Bible reading

Read all 66 books in supported Bible translations. Your reading position and active translation are remembered between sessions.

Strong's concordance

Tap any word in a verse to see its Strong’s number, Hebrew or Greek definition, transliteration, and pronunciation.

Interlinear view

Browse the full interlinear text word by word, with the original Hebrew or Greek alongside the English.

Local study notes

Create and edit study notes. Notes are saved to your device and persist between sessions.

What requires an account

Some features are only available to signed-in users, and a subset of those require a premium subscription.
Study notes created in guest mode are stored only on this device. If you uninstall the app or switch to a different device, those notes are permanently lost unless you create an account and sign in before switching.

Upgrade from guest to a full account

You can create an account at any time without losing your place in the app.
1

Open the Profile tab

Tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar.
2

Tap 'Create Account' or 'Sign In'

The profile screen prompts you to sign up or sign in when you are in guest mode.
3

Complete sign-up

Choose email, Google, or Apple sign-in and follow the prompts. See Create an Account for the full walkthrough.
4

Your notes migrate automatically

Any study notes you created as a guest are preserved on the device. After signing in, they remain accessible locally. Notes you create going forward are synced to your account.
Create an account early to make sure your notes are backed up. You can sign up in under a minute with Google or Apple — no email verification required for OAuth sign-in.
