What appears on the image
A Saved Verse Image includes:- the verse or passage text exactly as it appears in the selected translation
- the Bible reference with the translation abbreviation, such as
John 3:16 (WEB)orJohn 1:1-5 (WEB) - subtle Seed Scroll branding near the lower-right corner
- the selected template, text alignment, text size, and font
Seed Scroll does not add quotation marks or punctuation to the verse text. The image uses the verse text from the selected Bible translation.
Passage fit
Passage images use compact, fit-aware layouts for longer selections. If a passage is too long to stay readable on the selected template and text size, Seed Scroll asks you to shorten the passage or choose a more compact style before saving or sharing. Recent layout fixes improve text fitting and font picker behavior, so long passages are less likely to clip and selected font styles update the preview before you save or share.Find saved verse images

Template backgrounds
Verse image templates are curated by Seed Scroll. You choose from the available backgrounds instead of uploading your own image or generating one with AI. The template library includes parchment, soft light, ocean, desert path, linen, sunrise, and warm gradient backgrounds. Each template is chosen to keep scripture readable while giving the image a distinct mood. Seed Scroll caches template backgrounds locally after they load, so reopening the editor is faster and uses less network data. This keeps the image library consistent, safe, and ready for sharing.Saved Verse Images are local-first. If you reinstall the app or move to a new device before sync support is available, saved images may not carry over automatically.
